Physicians
The patient’s personal physician, hospice medical director and the hospice team work together to plan the patient’s medical care. Your doctor remains actively involved in your care prescribing medications and non curative treatment. Your physician is updated by the hospice team every 14 days or more frequently as needed. If the patient can no longer get out to doctors appointments, hospice will provide all the services needed in the home.
