Primary Care Nurses
Hospice nurses specialize in comfort care, pain management, and symptom control (palliative care). A primary registered nurse, or case manager, is assigned to each patient/family. Your hospice nurse makes regular visits to monitor the patients condition. They help manage pain and symptoms of the disease, as well as providing disease education and care information.
Hospice nurses are available for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
